Author Biography

Karen Kletzing’s first book, Ina, sold over 100,000 copies with Zondervan and Guideposts. At this time she is working with an agent on a re-publication of Ina along with two sequels. She is a recipient of the Amy Writing Award of the Amy Foundation [ http://amyfound.org/ ]. Over the years Karen has published many articles to academic journals and popular magazines. For over 15 years she contributed a regular column to Teachers in Focus, a Christian teachers’ magazine.

Karen earned her B.A. degree in English Literature and the M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. She also holds a M.A. in Reading Education from Michigan State University and the Ed. D. in Reading Education from Indiana University. She holds a permanent teaching license from the State of Indiana.

She resides in suburban Chicago where she is self-employed as a tutor in standardized testing for high school students.
